Microtxt is intended for users of small devices as an alternative input method to the QWERTY keyboard. Poking at a virtual QWERTY keyboard, or scroll and click to search or type is annoying, but stands as the primary method of entering data on most platforms. We seek to provide an easy and understandable replacement with just a few basic movements. You’ll be able to type without looking at an on-screen keyboard, ideal when using augmented or Virtual reality. Typing a smartwatch can be tricky if you need to draw out the letters or by poking at a very tiny virtual keyboard. Our method lets you construct keystrokes with just one finger so that you can quickly reply to a text on your watch. The fact that visual attention is not required might lead some to believe that this is strictly designed as assistive technology but we believe this advancement can help a lot of people input on many devices.
